In this 5 Day Lead Challenge review, I’ll break down all lessons to their most important teachings.
Day 1: Generating Unlimited Leads
On the first day of the 5 Day Lead Challenge, Russell will walk you through the high-level strategy that ClickFunnels employs to produce leads on demand from the Internet.
This lesson is all about understanding the strategy and how it works. It’s the only “lecture” day of the challenge, as all other lessons are practical.
He’ll give you a unique link to a Onepager assignment where you’ll get a tactical video as soon as he’s finished. While Russell gives you the strategy you need to understand on this first day, the tactical video shows Russell at his house doing what he’s teaching you how to do.
Most times, people understand conceptually what Russell teaches, but they don’t know how to implement it when it comes down to practice. In the tactical video inside the Onepager, he’s allowing you to copy exactly what he’s doing.
Here are some of the concepts you’ll learn from Russell on the first day of the challenge:

Day 2: Creating Your Lead Magnet (Onepager)
On day 2, Russell starts by showing some real-life examples of using lead magnets for traditional brick-and-mortar businesses. In these examples, you’ll see why having an email list (even if you don’t have an online business) is so important.
Lead magnets work for any type of business. You just have to think outside the box and try to figure out how you can attract your dream customers.
Russell goes deep into frameworks on this day of the 5 Day Lead Challenge.
Here’s how you find your lead magnet:
- What’s your dream customer?
- What is the major result you can give your dream customer?
- What are the steps to get to that result (the framework)?
The framework becomes your lead magnet.

- Expert Secrets – Frameworks of how to tell stories to convert people inside your funnels.
- Traffic Secrets – All the frameworks to get traffic.
Understanding frameworks is the key to building lead magnets and creating products and services. Your value is your own framework.
Ultimate result, core results, and splinter results
Russell also explains the distinction between the ultimate result, the core results, and the splinter results.
Here’s an example:
- Ultimate result: grow your company through sales funnels.
- Core results: how to create a webinar, how to drive traffic, and how to write good copy.
- Splinter results: how to create a webinar funnel, how to get people to show up to a webinar, etc.
While the ultimate result is not so “sexy” and appealing, the core results and splinter frameworks are and will help people get the ultimate result. These splinter results (that are also frameworks) are more specific and will become your actual lead magnets or products.
The more specific your results are, the sexiest they will be, attracting more leads.
In Russell’s case, the DotCom Secrets, Expert Secrets, and Traffic Secrets books are all core results that help his dream customer get the ultimate result — grow their business with sales funnels. These core results have further frameworks (the splinter results) that he can use as a lead magnet.
Russell also explains the framework for teaching frameworks. If you don’t do this, your prospects won’t respect what you’re trying to give them. This is the pre-frame to get someone prepared to be worthy of what you’re trying to give them. This framework increases the perceived value of your lead magnet.
If you don’t get anything else from the challenge, learning this last framework will change how you do business. I highly recommend you go through it.
Russell also provides another Onepager homework assignment in which he walks you through another video to help you put what you’ve learned into practice.
Day 3: Creating Your Lead Funnel
Day 3 of the 5 Day Lead Challenge is all about the tools you will use to exchange your prospect’s email address with your lead magnet. Russell will teach you how to build a funnel to give away your lead magnet for free.

She breaks down what she calls the warm-up sequence: the six questions to help you and your actual leads get to know each other. Basically, she took the framework of how you meet someone in person 1-on-1 and do the same thing with an email sequence.
This builds a logical progression in your story and connects the dots for them as to why it is you do what you do.
In the Onepager assignment, Yara reads her personal six-email sequence (she writes very long emails). There are bullet points to help you with the structure of your narrative for each email.
