In this article, I’ll show you GoHighLevel login tips and tricks on logging in to HighLevel and setting up your security so that no one can hack you and you don’t get locked out of your account.
So let’s get started.
What is HighLevel?
HighLevel, or GoHighLevel, is an all-in-one platform that provides tools, support, and resources to help digital agencies succeed. It offers features such as sales funnels, email creation, landing pages, automated leads, appointment booking, lead communication, and pipeline management.
It’s designed to help businesses find more customers, nurture more sales leads, keep the customers they have, and grow their businesses with innovative marketing tools.
As one of the best agency platforms, HighLevel offers a 14-day free trial to help you get a feel of the software.
Nonetheless, the main emphasis of this article will be on the HighLevel login process and ways to enhance its efficiency, securing your future access to the platform.
GoHighLevel Login Tips
If you’re worried about being locked out of your HighLevel account, fear not! These tips will assist you in resolving any issues you may have with logging in to your HighLevel account.
1. Reset Password Email
If you forgot your password or want to change it, you’ll need to reset it before logging in to the platform.
Your password recovery will be sent to the email and phone number in the top-level agency account (not the sub-account). So, first, make sure you’re in the agency admin dashboard.
To access your user profile, navigate to the left-side panel and click on Settings. As you can see, the first tab it will open is the Profile tab.
If you fear being locked out from your HighLevel account, ensure your email and phone number are correct. To begin, it is recommended that you verify your access to them.
You are good to go if your email and phone are correct and you can access them. Now you can log in to HighLevel through the website gohighlevel.com, the app, or your white-label URL.
If you want a free 14-day trial, you can access it through the button below.
2. HighLevel Security Code Verification
I’ll log into HighLevel using my email address and password.
You’ll see that the platform will ask you to send a verification code to either the email address or phone number you registered when you signed up to HighLevel.
This 2-factor authentication feature is a way for the platform to ensure you’re legit.
Select your email or phone number and hit the button Send Security Code. Now grab the code you received and paste it into the box.
Click on Confirm Code, and you’re in.
This is one of the most secure ways a customer can log into HighLevel.
3. HighLevel Single Sign-on (SSO)
HighLevel has a feature called Single Sign-on, or SSO for short. This convenient feature enables you to log in to various websites and applications using a single set of login credentials.
Instead of having to recall multiple usernames and passwords for each app or website, you can use your SSO credentials to access all of them, such as your Google account.
For example, if you have an account in your team management that is integrated with Google, you can use your Google credentials to sign into HighLevel without typing your password.
In addition to simplifying the login process, SSO streamlines user access to multiple applications and websites for organizations. All permissions and access controls can be centrally managed through the identity provider.
This simplifies the login process and enhances security by reducing the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
How to Log In to HighLevel With SSO on Agency Admin
If you want to use Single Sign-on with a team on the agency level, you can go into Settings > Team and add all your team members with the Google email address of the account.
The next time someone from your team tries to log into HighLevel, they can use SSO with that Google account. Just ensure it’s an account solely for your team and not your personal account.
This helps everyone on your team to use a single account instead of multiple accounts when logging into HighLevel.
How to Log In to HighLevel With SSO on a Sub-Account
The procedure is mostly the same to add SSO at the sub-account level. The additional step is to integrate the Google account with your sub-account profile.
At the sub-account level, go to Settings > Integrations and integrate your HighLevel account with your chosen Google account.
After completing this step, go to Settings > My Staff > Add Employee > User Info, and create a new user with the Google email address from your integration.
Ensure the email address you type is the same as your Google account integration. In other words, your email here must match what you log into Google with.
You can use this trick to set up a second account for yourself and log back in, in case you got locked out from your other account. If you do so, just ensure you also set admin permissions to this account.
If you’re doing a backup user for yourself, give this user all the permissions you need in case you get logged out of the other account.
